With these design-forward Christmas stockings, we predict a revolution in holiday décor. Who can we thank for the classy coup? Local stores and designers such as Ahna Holder, whose inspiration was necessity: She couldn’t find stockings to suit her contemporary home décor. “I didn't see anything I liked, so I made it myself,” she explains. Her contributions include a striped sock (far left). We also found one made with vintage Herman Miller fabric (second from right).
